You want to produce a brochure or flyer or web site or business card in Chinese. What are the steps to get your final product RIGHT?
A good Chinese Translation is the first part - and there is plenty of help on our website to help you get that right.  What about producing the layout for web or your printer.  How to deal with Chinese characters?  How to work with Chinese publishing programs? How to make sure that what is printed doesn't lose anything? Luckily, as well as great Chinese translation services, we also work with most design tools to produce print ready files and websites - we even print - books, business cards, brochures. Nothing can go wrong - we'll make sure of it.

Just about to confirm the Yellow Pages advertisement for the printed book, our client thought he better get us to check it out once more. The Yellow Pages had managed to create a mirror image of the Chinese text which would be hilarious and costly to our client and would result in no work from Chinese clients! Luckily we stopped this fatal mistake just in time.

First of all, make sure you understand the important English to Chinese translation issues - We can Help You.

  1. YOUR TEXT – Where is your audience from? How do you want to present your information to them? Does the information need to be in English and Chinese. How much and which information should be translated - discuss your aims with us and we can advise you on the options.
  2. YOUR DESIGN – Do you already have an English design or website. Would you like to discuss the overall aim of your communication with us. It is important to be CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE. We’ll review your English design or site or you can brief our designer to create the ideal product for you.
  3. OUR MANAGEMENT – Whether it is a Chinese brochure, Chinese website, Chinese powerpoint, or advertisement, get us involved in the planning stage and SAVE TIME AND MONEY.

Other helpful tips

  • There are strict publishing standards with Chinese text and printing is costly – it’s important to get it right - we can guide you.
  • Websites need careful advice on navigation, appropriate content, links and keywords all in Chinese and easy to navigate.
  • Many languages take up more space than English - Chinese is a rare exception so there will be more white space on the page in your Chinese design; if you need multiple languages we can help you too - but don't crowd your English text or the translations won't fit.
  • Multiple languages on one page - we often produce designs to accommodate this - again remember that English and Chinese will occupy less space than most other languages - to fit them all in might necessitate fonts that are too small and hard to read - we'll advise and assist you.
  • We back up all files and next time you need a translation update or have another project, we already know your requirements and aims and you don’t have to start from scratch again. We understand your needs, your terminology and your audience and we can serve you even better.
