Make a note when China will be on holidays in 2018. They have more holidays than most of us and won’t see you if you visit during these periods.

Don’t forget to send Chinese New Year greetings and also give your friends and colleagues mooncakes for the Mid Autumn (Moon) Festival.

New Year (Western calendar): 30 December – 01 January

Spring Festival (Chinese New Year): 15 – 21 February

Qingming Festival: 5 – 7 April

Labor Day: 29 April – 1 May

Dragon Boat Festival: 16 – 18 June

Mid-Autumn (Moon) Festival: 22 – 24 September

National Day: 1 – 7 October

Our China-based Mandarin interpreting team also likes to take a few days off. Plan your trip around China’s Holidays in 2018.
