The most exciting news in May is we won the Business 3000+ International award! In 2013, Chin Communications was ‘Highly Commended’ in these very awards, we are delighted that we managed to win the top prize this year.
The Business 3000+ Awards is Melbourne’s Premier Awards Program for small business. Since 2004, the Business 3000+ Awards have been recognizing and celebrating the endeavours and achievements of independent businesses located within the City of Melbourne that contribute to the commercial success and unique, vibrant fabric of the City.
It gives us great honor to receive such an important award, the Business 3000+ Award in the International category. We are sincerely grateful for the recognition that we have received for our contribution to the city and thank Business 3000+ for this honor.
This year Chin Communications celebrates 25 years in business. It is a major milestone for us – from starting out at a time when there was little interest in China, to have grown to employ a team of talented language and business professionals and deliver outstanding communications services to clients in Melbourne and other Australian businesses and organizations, helping them achieve success in the China market.
For 25 years we have supported trade, business, and growth; built cross-cultural bridges in rich and diverse Melbourne; as well as pursued excellence in education and in the language sector. Over the last two and half decades, we’ve transformed ourselves from a translation company into a full-service communications company, and become a critical link for businesses and governments engaging with China. We partner with our clients to achieve their China goals.
This award is an acknowledgment of the many partners we have in our people, our clients, our suppliers, AND supporters; we simply cannot do what we do without you. This award and the public recognition that goes with it will elevate our confidence and pride, and enable us to continue doing great work, bridging the gap between cultures and helping unlock the keys to success in China for our partners and this city.
I would encourage all small businesses in Melbourne to engage with each other actively, and apply for the awards next year – be recognized for your hard work and your contribution to this city.
