BRIDGING THE LANGUAGE GAP WITH INTERPRETING SERVICES

Have a positive outcome in your meeting with our NAATI interpreters

Successful executives, managers, and coordinators never leave anything to chance. Sometimes through hard experience, they’ve learnt that their stakeholders may not understand English so well. Or relying on the other party’s interpreter is good for the non-English speaking side but not for you. They’ve seen the bad outcomes from poor or no interpreting.

Placing trust in our in-house interpreters has led to successful interactions. Our team are competent in a wide range of sectors, including law, government, education, finance and technical areas like agribusiness and mining.

If you need a certified interpreter, don’t look any further. Our team is ready to book an interpreter in the language you require, including Korean, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and many more.

Our NAATI Level 5 Interpreting Makes Us the Leader
We are proud to be the only company to have a NAATI Level 5 interpreter on staff. Having this level of expertise in-house sets us apart from our competitors as, indeed, does an in-house team – all committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

NAATI Certified Interpreters
Our Australia-based team delivers multilingual interpreting services nationwide, including NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, ACT, NT, and TAS.

Quality and professionalism are important to us. That’s why all of our interpreters are NAATI certified, demonstrating their expertise and commitment to providing the highest level of service in the required language.

The value of a trusted NAATI interpreter by your side

In business meetings, successful outcomes often hinge on the quality of the interpreter for the target language. That is because you rely on your interpreter and base your decisions on their accurate interpretation. Worse, you may be unaware if they are giving you incorrect or incomplete translations. Who’s going to tell you?

A trusted interpreter can facilitate effective communication and build trust between parties, making it easier for both sides to agree or negotiate in a clear way.

Why Using a Professional Interpreter Is Always a Good Idea
We worked with a company facing difficulties with its multilingual board members in securing approval for decisions. After discussing the meeting details, we found that the client relied on an employee to interpret, which placed a heavy burden on that employee who wasn’t qualified and resulted in a lack of impartiality, often leading the employee to align with the foreign side. The team came to us to help solve their communication problem. We advised them to engage an impartial and independent, qualified interpreter. Since then, meetings have proceeded smoothly, faster and with decisions able to be reached based on correct information. The employee was also happy to be removed from this tricky position.

That is why we advise businesses to be careful when choosing an interpreter, because the quality of the interpreter can have a big effect on how well a meeting or business deal goes.

Good interpreters usually have a diary of activities, so if you want a top interpreter book in early. Of course, we often get last minute urgent requests and we will do our best to help – always.

In-person interpreting works best when the stakes are high and non-verbal cues play a big role. Remote options like phone or video are great for urgent matters or when things are more straightforward. Whichever you choose, it’s important to share the key details ahead of time. Let us know who the contact person is on the day, what the session will cover, and the address if it’s onsite. For remote bookings, make sure it’s clear who will be calling who and that the number provided is a direct line.

First of all preparation. Interpreters need to spend some advance time familiarising with the activity, subject matter and purpose – so always supply them with the required background and presentations or notes. Secondly, speakers need to speak and then pause to let the interpreter cut in and out. Interpreters should be able to use a note pad to take shorthand and then read it back (in the other language). Thirdly, if a microphone is to be used make sure the interpreter has one too – it is hard to take notes and hold a mic.

We have a wide pool of interpreters who bring experience across different industries and regions. Sometimes the best match for your needs is based in another state and may need to travel, which depends on your budget and how important it is to have someone with specific industry knowledge. If budget is tight, we’ll engage a local interpreter and make sure they’re well prepared. In those cases, it’s really important to provide slides, discussion points and any relevant materials ahead of time.

NAATI certified interpreters have formal training, often a degree or graduate diploma, and have passed the NAATI testing. They’re skilled at relaying information quickly and accurately while staying neutral. This matters because decisions are made based on what the interpreter says, so it’s essential the message comes through clearly without biases.
